Questions About Disco Party Hire
What equipment do I need for a disco party?
A simple disco setup needs music, a suitable speaker system and lighting. Our Disco Party Experience combines a powerful speaker, multiple LED disco lights, a T-bar lighting stand, microphone, fog machine, audio adapters, cables and power extension so the main equipment arrives together.
How many guests can the disco packages cater for?
The standard Disco Party Experience is designed for smaller groups of up to around 30 guests. The larger Disco Party Event includes two 400W PA speakers with tripod stands and is intended for larger groups of up to around 100 guests.
Can I play music from my own phone?
Yes. The package includes audio cables and iPhone and Android audio adapters for compatible devices. Party Chest® music streaming is also included, giving you an additional source of party music.
Does disco hire include lighting and effects?
Yes. The experience includes a T-bar stand with four LED disco lights, two LED Moonglow lights and a fog machine with fog fluid, helping transform an ordinary room or venue into a dancefloor.
Do I need a DJ to use the Disco Party Experience?
No. The package is designed so you can run the music yourself and includes straightforward setup and packing instructions. If you want a professionally hosted event you can still use a DJ, but one is not required to operate the package.
Is the hire equipment checked between bookings?
Yes. Returned hire equipment is checked and cleaned and/or sanitised as appropriate before its next hire. See our cleaning information for more details.
